El Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Vic (ICAVic) was founded in 1882 and since then its main objective has been to ensure that the lawyers of Vic respond to the needs of society in relation to the practice of law and to guarantee that the good practices of the profession are complied with.

Since its inception, and as part of the general principles of the legal profession and ethical obligations, ICAVic has paid special attention to confidentiality and the possible risks that may affect it. Therefore, and in order to maintain its proactive attitude, as established by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ICAVic decided to trust A2SECURE to carry out the external legal and technical audit on Data Protection in order to protect the information of its members.

Throughout the project, A2SECURE provided ICAVic with its team of legal and technical consultants specialized in privacy regulations with the aim of identifying potential breaches and incidents in order to subsequently mitigate them through clear, practical and forceful solutions.

The use of data always involves technological implications, and these types of environments are always evolving, which is why receiving the best legal and technical advice is essential to ensure and certify compliance with the law.
