In March 2024, Gartner® published its Market Guide for Co-Managed Security Monitoring Services. It is a document that, in addition to describing the status and modus operandi of this market, shares a list of Representative Vendors offering services in it.

A2SECURE has been one of the companies included in this list and recognized as a Representative Vendor by Gartner. In addition, it was the only company with headquarters in Spain included in this Market Guide.

Since the launch of the Market Guide, the entire A2SECURE team celebrates this recognition and has the firm belief that this new acknowledgement will give them the opportunity to continue growing, offering the most cutting-edge solutions and expanding their client portfolio on an international scale.

What does it mean to be listed in the Market Guide?

Periodically, Gartner publishes a new edition of its famous Market Guides, with the aim of providing entrepreneurs, strategic and IT leaders and investors with a practical and objective view of various markets.

The Market Guide is a snapshot of how a market operates, showing what customers can expect in the short term. As Gartner states on its own website: “A Market Guide does not rate or rank vendors within the market, but rather typically outlines the attributes of representative vendors offering deals in the market to give a broader view of the market itself”.

Survey the types of provider options in the market including A2SECURE and understand how offerings are likely to evolve.

A2SECURE believes that the company has been recognized in this Market Guide due to its portfolio of TDIR

Threat management is a fundamental component of cybersecurity that encompasses a number of basic and advanced principles to protect organizations against cyber threats.

Gartner Market Guide for Co-Managed Security Monitoring Services helps companies find their Cybersecurity and Threat Management partners by providing them with a listing of Representative Vendors of these services.

A2SECURE’s management team thinks that the company was included in the Market Guide due to its portfolio of advanced threat detection, investigation and response (TDIR) solutions. These solutions include endpoint detection and response (EDR), extended detection and response (XDR) and security information and event management (SIEM).

This company offers a cutting edge TDIR service. In addition to a multidisciplinary and expert team, A2SECURE moves away from traditional technology vulnerability management to a broader, more dynamic and continuous threat and risk management practice.

This multi-faceted approach facilitates an intelligent, risk-based threat detection lifecycle. A2SECURE is trusted by many clients across all sectors due to over 15 years of experience in the industry. The company implements a best-in-class security operations service for its customers.

Recursos Gràfics Threat Management. (1) Multifaceted approach that will lead to a risk-informed and intelligent threat detection life cycle.
Recursos Gràfics Threat Management. (1) 24/7 protective monitoring, that will augment threat-hunting capabilities and reduce the time of breaches.
Recursos Gràfics Threat Management. (1) Collaboration between Red Team and Blue Team to improve offensive security capabilities.

A2SECURE’s management team firmly believes that all these particularities, coupled with the fact that the company is certified in the most sought-after Cybersecurity levels, such as PCI, ISO 27001 and ENS, are some of the reasons why Gartner may have included the company in this Market Guide.

What are the benefits of using Co-Managed Threat Management Services?

TDIR-capable products such as Security information and event management (SIEM), are often directly purchased by organizations with low to moderate security maturity. The combination of locally owned complex security tools and lower security maturity are a good fit for co-managed security monitoring services (Gartner® 2024 Market Guide for Co-Managed Security Monitoring Services).

According to Gartner, “Security operations teams have a wide range of complex responsibilities. Outsourcing certain elements of security delivery eases the workload of the security operations center (SOC) and provides resources that can be focused on operational requirements.”

Also, Gartner states that, “Many co-managed monitoring providers have their own native TDIR-capable technologies and offer specific services on top of selling and supporting such platforms, while many other providers support multiple commercial solutions. Co-managed security monitoring services are generally procured either with the TDIR-capable tool already installed, or less frequently, with the expectation that the provider will recommend a tool that will meet the customer’s requirements.”

In both cases from A2SECURE we think that having an expert and specialized partner will allow you to optimize threat management by reducing incidents and problems, but also decrease response and resolution times.
